One day when we are in Regensburg, Germany our
Four years old grand daughter Maanu came running from kinder
garden that there is a assignment given by her teacher. Her
assignment is that she has to sow seed in a pot and raise up to a
plant. She was very curious about this and we suggested that she
can grow greens like spinach, coriander and fenugreek and also
beans that they can come up soon and she can watch it soon.
My daughter told that there is a nice plant nursery is
there in Regensburg where we can have a visit there with the
children so that we can have the ideas about home garden that
can be practiced in the climate of Germany. We started casually
by walk in the pleasant Saturday morning time.
We were astonished to see this nursery garden placed in a
big building with open spaces in between.

into it. They are having all types of flowers plants and fruit plants
in varieties in different sizes. They also have plastic pots of
various sizes, growing bags , and also the materials needed for
potting mixture, many Farming tools, implements and fertilisers.
Even very big size trees are sold there in bigger size pots which
can be transferred immediately to new garden . I thought that with
the available plants and materials available there, a very big
botanical garden can be formed.

Plants are proving mood boosters and improve
concentration, productivity, reduce carbon di oxide.
We took more than 3 hours to go around the nursery where
we saw the potted plants of varieties arranged neatly providing
suitable temperature, sun light with neat irrigation. Colorful fancy
trolleys are there to drag through the garden to pick up the plants
desired . The rates of each plant is mentioned there itself. We t
I have presented a visual site of the nursery garden
